On December 13, 2024, the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang and Nagasaki University, Japan, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking an important step forward in scientific, educational, and research cooperation between the two organizations. The signing ceremony took place solemnly at the headquarters of the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang, with the participation of leaders and leading experts from both sides.
Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the two sides expressed their opinions and orientations on potential areas of cooperation, especially in scientific research. They also highlighted their interest in the significant achievements that each organization has made in recent years. Both sides expressed a desire to leverage each other’s strengths for bilateral cooperation, aiming for sustainable development in the future.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) featured the participation of Dr. Do Thai Hung, Director, representing the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang, and Prof. Lay Myint Yoshida, representing Nagasaki University. The event was attended by the Board of Directors, unit leaders, and staff of the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang. The two representatives exchanged the MOU with firm handshakes, symbolizing their desire to establish a close relationship between the two organizations.

The signing of this MOU not only underscores the pioneering roles of the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang and Nagasaki University in medical research but also opens up opportunities for deeper cooperation in the future.
